Yard Operative – Temp-to-Perm

About the role
We are looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our busy yard team on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis. This hands‑on role is based in Luton and involves a full day of physical work in an outdoor environment, ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and contributing to a well‑organised yard.
Key responsibilities
- Manually lift and move 20 kg bags throughout the shift.
- Stack bags safely onto pallets and build pallets up to approximately 3 metres high.
- Load and unload materials as required.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised yard.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Support the wider yard team with general duties.
Required profile
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
- Team‑player with a positive attitude.
- Previous yard, warehouse or production experience is desirable but not essential.
