About the role
Reed is seeking enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. The role is full‑time, temporary and offers flexible daily rates, allowing you to choose the days that suit your schedule. You will be placed in a variety of school settings, supporting young learners in their foundational year.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the Year 1 curriculum in accordance with school policies.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour and support pupils’ social and academic development.
- Collaborate with senior staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Complete minimal planning and marking required for day‑to‑day teaching.
Required profile
- Relevant classroom experience, preferably with Year 1 pupils.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Adaptability to different school environments.
- Professional, proactive attitude.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
