Year 1 Primary Teacher – Supply (Flexible Days)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers to join primary schools across Hampshire. The role offers flexible working days, immediate start, and the chance to support young learners in a variety of school settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Year 1 curriculum and facilitate engaging lessons.
• Maintain a safe, orderly classroom and manage behaviour effectively.
• Provide day‑to‑day teaching with minimal planning and marking responsibilities.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and timetables.

Required profile

• Relevant classroom experience, preferably with Year 1 pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Adaptable, confident and proactive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Passion for supporting the learning and development of Year 1 students.
