About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. This temporary, full‑time position offers flexible working days and immediate start dates, allowing you to support young learners while enjoying a balanced work schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Year 1 curriculum in line with each school’s guidelines.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage student behaviour.
• Provide day‑to‑day instruction with minimal planning and marking responsibilities.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and schedules.

Required profile

• Relevant classroom experience, preferably with Year 1 pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Adaptability to work across various school environments.
• Proactive, professional attitude and passion for early‑year education.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
