About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. This temporary, full‑time role offers flexible daily rates and the chance to work in a variety of classroom settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Year 1 curriculum and support pupils’ learning and development.
• Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management.
• Adapt lesson plans to suit different school environments and student needs.
• Provide a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with school staff and follow established policies.

Required profile

• Relevant classroom experience, preferably with Year 1 pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Adaptability and confidence in varied school settings.
• Proactive, professional attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Passion for supporting young learners.
