About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day teaching assignments with immediate start dates, allowing you to support young learners while enjoying a balanced work schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to Year 1 pupils in a variety of school settings.
• Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management.
• Provide day‑to‑day support with minimal planning and marking responsibilities.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and timetables.

Required profile

• Relevant classroom experience, preferably with early years or primary students.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Adaptability and confidence working across multiple schools.
• Proactive, professional attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Passion for supporting Year 1 pupils’ learning and development.
