About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day teaching assignments with an immediate start date, allowing you to support young learners while enjoying a balanced work schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to Year 1 pupils in a variety of primary school settings.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Follow existing lesson plans with minimal preparation and marking requirements.
• Adapt quickly to different school policies and routines.

Required profile

• Relevant classroom experience, preferably with early years or Year 1 groups.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Adaptability and confidence working in diverse school environments.
• Proactive, professional attitude and willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS if not already held.
• Passion for supporting the learning and development of Year 1 pupils.
