About the role
Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day assignments with minimal planning and marking, ideal for teachers returning to the classroom or seeking varied experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lesson plans and curriculum content for Year 1 pupils.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and well‑behaved classroom environment.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and follow each school's policies and procedures.
- Provide individualized support to help pupils achieve their learning goals.
Required profile
- Relevant classroom experience, preferably with Year 1 pupils.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Adaptability and confidence in varied school environments.
- Proactive, professional attitude and passion for early years education.
- Enhanced DBS clearance on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
