Year 1 Supply Teacher – Primary (Waterlooville)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Year 1 supply teachers to support primary schools across Hampshire, including Waterlooville. This flexible, temporary role allows you to deliver engaging lessons to young learners while gaining experience in a variety of school settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Year 1 curriculum to pupils in accordance with school guidelines.
• Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and timetables.
• Provide day‑to‑day teaching with minimal planning and marking responsibilities.

Required profile

• Relevant classroom experience, preferably with Year 1 pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Adaptability and confidence working in varied school settings.
• Proactive, professional attitude and passion for early‑year education.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
