Year 1 Teacher – Full‑time Primary School (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Brent starting September 2026. The role is full‑time and initially temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging phonics and literacy lessons for Year 1 pupils.
• Build confidence and support the personal development of young learners.
• Collaborate with the year‑group team and school leadership to create a positive classroom environment.
• Participate in staffroom discussions and contribute to school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Recent teaching experience with strong references.
• Current DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Ability to teach phonics effectively.
• Creative and energetic classroom management.
