About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 2‑6 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day assignments with immediate start dates, allowing you to choose the days that suit your schedule while supporting pupils in key learning years.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and maintain curriculum continuity for Year 2‑6 classes.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Follow each school’s policies, procedures and assessment guidelines.
• Provide minimal planning and marking for short‑term assignments.

Required profile

• Previous experience teaching Year 2‑6 pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Adaptability to work in different school settings.
• Proactive, professional attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
