Year 2 (KS1) Teacher – Full‑time Fixed‑term (Sept‑Jan)

About the role
A welcoming primary school in Salford is looking for a Year 2 teacher to join its KS1 team on a full‑time, fixed‑term basis from September until January. You will take full responsibility for a Year 2 class and help pupils achieve key‑stage milestones.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that follow the KS1 curriculum.
- Focus on phonics, reading, writing and end‑of‑key‑stage expectations.
- Maintain strong behaviour management and build positive relationships with pupils.
- Collaborate with the KS1 team to share best practices and support student progress.
Required profile
- Secure knowledge of KS1, especially Year 2 content.
- Confidence in phonics and early literacy teaching.
- Strong behaviour management and relationship‑building skills.
- Adaptable, reflective and a team player.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
