About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Primary Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Sutton. The position runs from September 2026 to July 2027 and offers a supportive environment with strong senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons.
- Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Organise and attend parents' evenings and other communication events.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of EYFS/KS1/KS2 teaching experience in the UK.
- Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
