About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Year 2 Primary Teacher for a mainstream school in NW10, Willesden. The role is a full‑time, temporary position covering the academic year from September 2026 to July 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons across the curriculum.
- Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Organise and attend parents’ evenings and communicate progress.
- Maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment during term‑time hours (8:30 am‑4:00 pm, Mon‑Fri).
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience teaching EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in the UK.
- Current safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
