About the role
Are you an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you have a passion for delivering engaging lessons that inspire children to learn and succeed? Do you hold a recognised QTS qualification? If the answer is yes to all the above, then this Year 2 Teacher role is for you!! This welcoming primary school in Enfield is only an 8‑minute walk from the nearest train station. It caters for children aged 3‑11 and is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where pupils feel valued, build confidence and develop a love of learning. Staff work together to provide excellent SEN provision for children with complex needs, including ASD and SEMH. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a Year 2 class of 27 pupils, planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 national curriculum.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs, including those with SEN.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued, supported and encouraged to succeed.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in England.
- Previous KS1 teaching experience.
- Strong classroom management skills.
