Year 2 Teacher – Full‑time (Sept 2026)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Brent starting September 2026. You will help children become independent learners, prepare them for their first SATs, and keep learning exciting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Year 2 lessons across the curriculum.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support where needed.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and fellow teachers to share best practice.
• Maintain accurate records and fulfil safeguarding duties.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Two recent professional references.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to complete one) and subscription to the DBS Update Service.
• Full compliance with safeguarding regulations.
• Passion for helping children thrive academically and socially.

Required skills

• Strong classroom management techniques.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Effective communication with pupils, parents and staff.
