Year 2 Teacher – Primary School (Harlow)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Year 2 Teacher to join a three‑form entry primary school in Harlow from September 2026. The school offers an enriching, forward‑thinking environment with strong support from senior leadership, the phase leader and the KS1 team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the Year 2 curriculum in line with national standards.
• Foster inquisitive and curious learners through engaging lessons.
• Assess pupil progress and provide targeted feedback.
• Collaborate with the KS1 team and other staff to enhance the learning experience.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Required profile

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) in England.
• Previous experience teaching Year 2 or Key Stage 1 (experience in other year groups will also be considered).
• High expectations for personal and pupil achievement.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to work collaboratively.
