About the role
Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 2‑6 supply teachers for primary schools across Hampshire and the South East. The role offers immediate start dates and flexible working patterns, allowing you to choose full‑time, part‑time or day‑to‑day assignments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the national curriculum for Year 2‑6 pupils in a variety of school settings.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive learning environment.
- Adapt lesson plans quickly to meet the needs of each school and class.
- Complete minimal marking and planning for short‑term placements.
Required profile
- Previous experience teaching Year 2‑6 in a primary school.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Adaptability to work in different school environments.
- Professional attitude and proactive communication.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Required skills
- Effective classroom management.
- Ability to deliver curriculum content confidently.
