About the role

We are partnering with a vibrant mainstream primary school in the Halton area to recruit a dedicated Year 3 teacher for Key Stage 2. This full‑time, temporary‑to‑permanent position offers the chance to shape pupils’ learning during a crucial stage of their development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, focusing on reading, writing and maths.
• Take full class responsibility from lesson planning through assessment and reporting.
• Implement inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies to meet the needs of every learner.
• Contribute to the school’s assessment and tracking strategies to ensure high achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support the wider school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); early‑career teachers are welcome.
• Proven classroom experience in Key Stage 2 and familiarity with pupil progress tracking.
• Strong commitment to inclusive teaching and community impact.
• Professional, reflective practitioner who values teamwork and continuous development.
• Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.
