Year 3 Class Teacher (Temporary Full‑Time)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Year 3 Class Teacher for a Good‑rated primary school in West London. The role is full‑time on a temporary basis, covering the academic year from September 2026 to July 2027, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 3 pupils.
• Mark assessments, record progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Organise and attend parent evenings and staff meetings.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment in line with safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and fellow teachers to support school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience teaching Key Stage 2 in the UK.
• Current right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with online update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional references covering the last two years.

Required skills

• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Ability to use standard classroom technology and assessment tools.
