Year 3 Primary Teacher

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Primary Teacher for a popular mainstream primary school in Blackheath (SE3). The role is full‑time on a temporary contract running from September 2026 to July 2027, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Year 3 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Mark student work, provide feedback and track progress.
• Organise and attend parent evenings and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience teaching EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in the UK.
• Current safeguarding training (within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
