Year 3 Primary Teacher – Long-Term Supply Role

About the role
We are seeking a passionate Year 3 Primary Teacher to join Widnes Academy on a long‑term supply basis starting in May. The position offers a supportive environment within a well‑led, inclusive trust, suitable for both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (ECTs).
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons for a Year 3 class in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Adapt learning activities to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
- Monitor, assess and track pupil progress regularly.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to wider school life.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong passion for primary education and child development.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt within the school setting.
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
- Early‑career teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
