Year 3 Supply Teacher – Tunbridge Wells

About the role

Hays Education is partnering with several primary schools in Tunbridge Wells to recruit enthusiastic Year 3 teachers. The role involves guiding pupils as they move from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2, delivering engaging lessons and fostering a supportive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Year 3 classes.
• Support pupils in building confidence, independence and resilience.
• Maintain positive behaviour management and a safe learning atmosphere.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to enhance student outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
• Experience teaching in primary education, preferably Lower KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Commitment to pupil progress and achievement.
• Enthusiasm, adaptability and a passion for teaching.
