Year 3 Teacher – Full‑time Primary Position

About the role

A primary school in Preston is looking for a dedicated and passionate Year 3 Teacher to join its team on a full‑time basis. The successful candidate will start in September and work through the full academic year, with the possibility of moving from a temporary to a permanent contract.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective Year 3 lessons that keep pupils focused on classwork.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse abilities of pupils and support their academic progression.
• Maintain high expectations, encouraging pupils to develop aspirations, enthusiasm for learning and independence.
• Contribute to the school’s commitment to an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating by upholding safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• Dedicated, passionate about teaching Year 3 pupils in an oversubscribed primary school.
• Willingness to work full‑time for the full academic year, starting in September.
• Ability to meet safeguarding requirements, including an Enhanced DBS check.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to attend a registration interview.
