Year 3 Teacher – Full‑time Primary School (Maidstone)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Maidstone. The role starts in September 2026 and is full‑time, delivering the national curriculum to pupils aged 7‑8. You will work within a supportive, inclusive environment that values academic achievement and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum for Year 3.
• Assess and report on pupil progress, providing feedback to parents and senior leadership.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, promoting a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support school‑wide initiatives and extracurricular activities.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and maintain an up‑to‑date Enhanced DBS.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching at Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, or in a similar role.
• Strong subject and curriculum knowledge for Year 3.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with the Update Service.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
