Year 3 Teacher – Permanent (KS2) – Broxbourne

About the role

A friendly, well‑established primary school in Broxbourne is seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher to lead a Year 3 class from September 2026. The position offers a supportive environment where high‑quality teaching, staff wellbeing and pupil achievement are priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning for Year 3 pupils.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom where every child can achieve their potential.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Contribute to staff meetings, CPD sessions and wider school initiatives.
• Take on subject‑leadership responsibilities where appropriate.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent, successful experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 3.
• Strong classroom management and excellent organisational skills.
• Passion for delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons.
• Commitment to inclusion and ensuring every pupil reaches their full potential.
• Positive, collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the school community.
