Year 3 Teacher – Primary School (Clitheroe)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Clitheroe. The role is full‑time on a fixed‑term basis, starting in September 2026, and focuses on delivering high‑quality teaching for lower Key Stage 2 pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons for Year 3.
• Support early reading, writing and phonics development.
• Maintain strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Collaborate effectively with the KS1 team and wider staff.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the right to work in the UK.
• Experience teaching lower Key Stage 2 or Year 1/2 pupils.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
• Willingness to engage in professional development and continuous improvement.
