About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Year 3/4 teacher to join our friendly primary school in East Malling. The position is part‑time, with teaching duties every Monday from September 7 2026 for a fixed‑term of one year. This role offers a stable weekly schedule, allowing you to balance teaching with other commitments while making a meaningful impact on young learners.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for a mixed Year 3/4 class.
- Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
