About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic KS2 practitioner to teach a split Year 3 and Year 5 class in a supportive primary school in Blackpool, starting September.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons for both Year 3 and Year 5, ensuring progression across lower and upper KS2.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
- Collaborate with the wider KS2 team and contribute to school life.
- Assess, track and report pupil progress.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
Required profile
- Passionate about high‑quality KS2 teaching.
- Confident in adapting learning for mixed‑age groups.
- Strong classroom organisation and behaviour management skills.
- Committed to raising attainment and nurturing pupil confidence.
- Reliable, reflective and eager to contribute to the school community.
