Year 4 Class Teacher (Temporary Full‑Time)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Year 4 Class Teacher for a Good‑rated primary school in West London. The role is full‑time, term‑time only, and runs from September 2026 to July 2027, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Year 4 lessons.
• Mark assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Organise and attend parent evenings and other communication events.
• Maintain accurate pupil records and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and attend relevant training.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK.
• Current safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
