Year 4 Teacher – Blackpool

About the role

We are partnering with a welcoming primary school in Blackpool to find a passionate Year 4 Teacher. The role starts in September and offers a long‑term, full‑time placement within a supportive community focused on pupil progress and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the Key Stage 2 curriculum objectives.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages good behaviour and high expectations.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to individual needs.
• Support pupils transitioning to upper Key Stage 2 by reinforcing core subject foundations.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and parents to maximise each pupil’s potential.
• Uphold high standards of attainment, personal development and conduct.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Experience teaching at Key Stage 2, preferably with lower KS2 classes.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Effective lesson planning and delivery.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Proficiency in using classroom technology and assessment tools.
