About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Year 4 Class Teacher to join our primary school in Strood on a fixed‑term contract from September to December 2026. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching and fostering an inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Year 4 lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Assess pupil progress, provide feedback and report outcomes.
- Maintain effective classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including staff collaboration and extracurricular activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
