Year 4 Teacher – Full‑time or Contractor – Enfield

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with primary schools in Enfield to recruit a confident Year 4 Teacher for September 2026. The position can be taken on a full‑time or part‑time contractor basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the KS2 National Curriculum with creativity and rigour.
• Focus on times‑tables mastery, reading for pleasure, written composition and mathematical reasoning.
• Use data and assessment to personalise learning for each pupil.
• Support pupils with SEND and EAL needs.
• Collaborate with the year‑group team on shared planning and practice.
• Maintain up‑to‑date safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• KS2 teaching experience, preferably in Years 3‑5.
• Familiarity with the Multiplication Tables Check and strategies for times‑tables fluency.
• Strong subject knowledge in core and foundation subjects.
• Confidence in differentiating for mixed‑ability, SEND and EAL groups.
• Effective use of formative and summative assessment to drive progress.
