About the role
This is a full‑time Year 4 teaching position in a welcoming primary school in the Rochdale area, starting September 2026. The school values pupil progress, inclusive practice and strong behaviour management, supported by an experienced leadership team.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess lessons for a Year 4 class.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Track and support individual pupil progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent standards across the school.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
- Experience or confidence in supporting pupils with SEN.
- Effective classroom management and organisational abilities.
- Positive, adaptable and proactive attitude.
