About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join our friendly, supportive school community in Bexley on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for pupils in Key Stage 2.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the National Curriculum for Year 4.
- Maintain a well-managed classroom and promote positive behaviour.
- Assess pupil progress and provide targeted support to help each child achieve their potential.
- Contribute to whole-school initiatives and collaborate with colleagues.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2, preferably Year 4.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Commitment to raising standards and pupil achievement.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
