Year 4 Teacher – Part‑time Afternoons (Hayes)

About the role

This part‑time position is for a Year 4 teacher who will work exclusively in the afternoons at a thriving three‑form entry primary school in Hayes. The role runs from September 2026 to July 2027, Monday‑Friday, 1:00 pm‑3:30 pm, providing a focused teaching experience while maintaining a balanced schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 4 lessons across the national curriculum during the afternoon session.
• Collaborate closely with the morning class teacher to ensure continuity of learning and consistent behaviour expectations.
• Assess pupil progress, give constructive feedback and adapt instruction to meet diverse needs.
• Support pupils requiring additional assistance and maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the United Kingdom.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4).
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with pupils.
