About the role

This full‑time position is for a Year 4 Teacher at a welcoming Catholic primary school in Lambeth, South West London. The role starts in September 2026 and is offered on a fixed‑term basis for one academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Year 4 pupils.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to enhance student learning and well‑being.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching Year 4 in a primary setting.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
