Year 4 Teacher – Primary School in Chelsea

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Year 4 Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Chelsea, SW4. The role involves delivering the KS2 curriculum, planning lessons, assessing progress and engaging with parents. It is a full‑time temporary position running until July 2026, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Year 4 lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Mark assessments, record student progress and provide feedback.
• Organise and attend parent evenings and communicate student development.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Participate in staff training, CPD and school-wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of KS2 teaching experience in the UK.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) and two professional references covering the last two years.
