About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Year 5 Class Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Bromley (BR1). The role involves full‑time classroom teaching, planning, marking and engaging with parents throughout the academic year.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the Year 5 curriculum across all subjects.
- Plan, prepare and mark lessons, ensuring timely feedback.
- Organise and attend parents' evenings and other communication events.
- Maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday‑Friday (term time only).
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of teaching experience in the UK.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
