About the role

Teach Plus is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Ealing to recruit a Year 5 Class Teacher starting September 2026. The school serves a diverse community, values inclusion and high expectations, and offers a supportive environment for professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire and challenge Year 5 (or Year 6) pupils.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum and school expectations.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Monitor and track pupil achievement, implementing strategies to ensure all learners reach their potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues, leaders and support staff to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupils' academic and personal development.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience as a primary teacher or in a similar role, suitable for Upper KS2 (Year 5/6).
• Strong subject and curriculum knowledge relevant to the role.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with the Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK.
