Year 5 Class Teacher – Redbridge Primary School

About the role

We are partnering with an ambitious primary school in Chigwell, Redbridge, to recruit a dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher starting September 2026. The successful candidate will join a supportive team focused on high‑quality teaching and nurturing each pupil’s potential.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for Year 5.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence and curiosity.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
• Monitor and raise pupil attainment, providing targeted support where needed.
• Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Commitment to raising standards and supporting every child’s success.
