About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Year 5 Class Teacher for a Good‑rated primary school in West London. The position is full‑time, temporary until July 2027, covering the academic year.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver daily lessons for Year 5 pupils.
- Mark assessments and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Organise and attend parents’ evenings and other school events.
- Maintain accurate pupil records and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
