Year 5 Primary Teacher – Full‑time, Long‑term Contract

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a modern, well‑resourced primary school in Stanford‑le‑Hope. The role starts in September on a full‑time, long‑term contract and offers the chance to work with a supportive senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for a Year 5 class, covering the full KS2 curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all abilities and maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues to share best practice and develop innovative teaching approaches.
• Utilise the school’s facilities, including a multi‑use games area, library and dedicated planning spaces.
• Work with a dedicated classroom teaching assistant to support student learning.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Proven experience teaching in KS1 or KS2, preferably with a focus on KS2.
• Creative, passionate and able to inspire a love of learning in students.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
