Year 5 Primary Teacher – Full‑time Temporary Role

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Year 5 Primary Teacher for an Ofsted "Good" mainstream primary school in West London. The role starts on 1 September 2026 and runs until July 2027, offering a full‑time temporary contract with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Year 5 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Mark assessments, provide feedback and track pupil progress.
• Organise and attend parent evenings and staff meetings.
• Maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment during the 8:30 am‑4:00 pm school day, Monday to Friday (term time only).

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
