About the role

A friendly, forward‑thinking primary school in Basingstoke is looking for a passionate Year 5 Teacher to start in September 2026. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress and become part of a collaborative teaching team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as required.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication, organisation and classroom‑management skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities.
• Commitment to achieving the best outcomes for every child.
