About the role

An ambitious primary school in Didcot is seeking a passionate Year 5 Teacher to join its dedicated team from September 2026. This permanent, full‑time position offers the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons and support every pupil in reaching their full potential within a supportive and innovative school community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons that support excellent pupil progress.
• Assess, monitor, and record attainment to inform future planning.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment practices.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities.
• Commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
