Year 5 Teacher – Fixed‑Term (2 terms)

About the role

A friendly primary school in Wickford is seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join the team from September 2026. This fixed‑term position (two terms) covers maternity leave and offers the chance to work in a supportive environment focused on high‑quality teaching and pupil wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every pupil can thrive.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Commitment to inclusive education and pupil development.
