Year 5 Teacher – Full-time (initial 1-term)

About the role

We are partnering with a welcoming village primary school on the outskirts of Crewe to appoint a Year 5 teacher on a full‑time basis. The role starts at the beginning of the term and is offered initially as a one‑term contract, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Year 5 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
• Create a calm, encouraging classroom environment that supports well‑behaved pupils.
• Contribute to whole‑school activities and collaborate with the supportive leadership team.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
• Organised, reliable and committed to helping pupils achieve their best.
• Ability to hit the ground running and integrate quickly into the school community.
