Year 5 Teacher – Full‑time Primary Position in Harrow

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Year 5 Teacher to join a thriving 3‑form entry primary school in Harrow. The role starts in September 2026 and runs for the full academic year, offering a supportive environment for both experienced teachers and early‑career teachers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons across the upper KS2 curriculum.
• Collaborate with the Year 5 team to ensure consistent teaching standards and pupil progress.
• Contribute to inclusive practices and support pupils with additional needs.
• Participate in whole‑school initiatives, staff development and shared planning sessions.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Experience teaching in KS2 or the confidence to step into a Year 5 classroom.
• Strong understanding of effective classroom practice and inclusive teaching.
• Commitment to pupil progress and collaborative staff culture.
