About the role
Protocol Education is recruiting an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher for a thriving primary school in Slough. The position starts in September 2026 and is full‑time on a long‑term, temporary basis.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, inspiring KS2 lessons for a Year 5 class.
- Maintain high expectations for academic achievement and behaviour.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Contribute to a supportive, creative school culture that values staff wellbeing.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Proven experience teaching KS2, preferably Upper KS2.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and passionate about education.
Required skills
What we offer
- Daily rate between £150 and £230 (inclusive of statutory holiday pay).
- Potential to convert to a permanent role.
- Free online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training.
- Full assistance with DBS checks and Update Service subscription.
